📸 Using LRTimelapse 7 without Adobe Lightroom 📸

I'm continuing last week's series about how to create pro-level timelapses without using Adobe software.

Today, we'll discuss how to edit a holy grail timelapse using LRTimelapse 7 without using Lightroom Classic.

In case you missed it

The Northern Lights appeared over London last week!

If you're unaware, that is extremely uncommon.

After the first burst of colour in the night sky I let my camera run all night and caught the second, much more intense aurora burst.

Sitting at almost 100,000 views, this was one popular timelapse-focused phenomenon.

I captured the sequence on my trusty Lumix S5II with a 9mm ultra-wide lens to capture as much of the sky as possible. My photo settings were [3.2s - iso1600 - f5.6] and I captured over 4,400 RAW frames over the span of five hours. This sequence is the first 1,000 frames with the peak of activity. I edited the sequence to make the colours and shapes stand out more. The timelapse interval was 4 seconds, so just under a second of “pause” between shots. The video plays back at 25fps so it is a lot faster than what the naked eye would see.

For about 200,000 people in the UK, this week is an absolute highlight of the year. Glastonbury 2025 is about to kick off, one of the world's largest music and arts festivals. This BBC documentary about the build of Arcadia, one of my favourite stages, is a great insight (featuring some great hyperlapse footage) into what it means to craft one of many experiences in the fields. I look forward to capturing some fun hyperlapse clips on my 360 camera this year :) Industry News When I started...
