To direct and capture a Shot On iPhone campaign for the new Cadillac Formula 1 Team! Talk about a dream coming true... The resulting video is live on the @apple Instagram page (and on @valterribottas' too) and has already hit 2,500,000 views. Watch it here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DUorPxsEYHS/ I believe this 34-second video is my best work yet, and I couldn't have done it without my editor on this project: Francesco Albinati. Francesco and I met in Saudi Arabia a few years ago on another job, and I have wanted to work directly with him ever since. The stars aligned, and we managed to get him on board for this incredible project. Please enjoy this photo of us two, captured by Keanu Reeves (yes, really, more information about that here) Make sure to check out Francesco's website and Instagram. Featured FilmMy friend Tigz Rice has launched a new podcast, and I was one of the first guests on it. Watch me talk about how we live in a soup, the pressures of social media and freelancing, the risks of burnout, and more here: Featured GearTo film the above Shot On iPhone video, I decided to go with the SmallRig Universal phone cage. The quick-release handles and multiple mounting points for accessories made this an unmissable piece of kit. That's all I've got for you today. Thanks for reading! Hello, it's been a minute! I hope your December is off to a better start than mine. While travelling in Mauritius in November, I developed a hectic ear infection and I have temporarily lost half my hearing. Doctors say it will come back, but it will take a while, and I've had to cancel my trip to Australia for Christmas. Luckily, I'll be able to spend time with my family in Belgium now :) (Despite the painful medical ordeal, we still had an absolutely wonderful time on this paradise island)...
Kevin Parry is a stop-motion artist with an incredible knack for creating mega-viral videos. I can guarantee you've seen his work and been captivated by it over the last few years. I've been a fan of his for a long time now, so it was a great joy to be asked to join his podcast called "How do artists make money?". I hope you enjoy this insight into my career path and how MVDP Studios came to be. May the clouds be in your favor 🌥️ Matthew Time Warper Weekly Discounts The Ultimate Timelapse...
Summer arrived, and I got crazy busy with work and events! This is why I haven't sent you an email since June 🤯 The latest project I did was quite a lot of work, which is why I'm so happy with the end result. The Tron: Ares launch event in London last week just ticked over 350,000 plays. I worked with a VFX artist, a second shooter and two editors to turn a two hour shoot into something quite special!
