Some exciting news further down this email :) I'm hosting a free webinar called The Art Of Timelapse Photography next week. Sign up here. The Ultimate Timelapse Course 2025 UpdateDo you want to know more about the gimbal vest I use for my high-speed hyperlapse shooting? Then here's some good news: I've added 23 new lessons to the course. You can get lifetime access with a $50 discount with code LETSGO50 at checkout here. Industry NewsDJI has announced the OM7 and OM7P phone gimbals. I've had the OM7P for a few weeks and have a video about gimbal hyperlapse shooting almost ready. Stay tuned. Nikon has recently announced the Coolpix P1100 bridge camera, featuring a staggering 125x optical zoom lens. I used to have the P1000 and had a lot of fun with it, even though it could be very frustrating to use. Hopefully, this brings the price of secondhand P1000s back down. I bought mine a few years ago for £600 and now they are selling for £1,000. There is an entertaining rumor in the flat earth community (I find it entertaining to read their insane arguments) that NASA and "big globe" have been buying up all the P1000 stock and Nikon has discontinued the series because people were starting "to see" the truth with these mega-zoom cameras. I wonder how they explain this new release... Anyway, best not to spend too much time in that crazy realm. Featured FilmWe're throwing it back today to one of my first inspirations. The Mountain by Terje Sorgjerd is (in my opinion) an all-time classic nature timelapse film. Click play and see why. Featured GearThe Syrp Genie One Motion Control Pan Head/Linear Drive is on sale for $99.88 USD at B&H. That is a discount of $462! I have this device and use it with my slider to create motion control timelapses. It can also spin around for panning timelapses. It is a top-heavy device, and we don't know how much longer it will be supported by the Manfrotto Move app, but at that price, it's almost a no-brainer. Disclaimer: Syrp the company no longer exists, and there is no support for this brand or its products. Buy at your own risk. May the clouds be in your favor 🌥️ Matthew PS: I'm getting ready to relaunch The Ultimate Timelapse Course with a new look and a ton of new content. As a Time Warper Weekly member you've just gotten a sneak preview :)

Summer arrived, and I got crazy busy with work and events! This is why I haven't sent you an email since June 🤯 The latest project I did was quite a lot of work, which is why I'm so happy with the end result. The Tron: Ares launch event in London last week just ticked over 350,000 plays. I worked with a VFX artist, a second shooter and two editors to turn a two hour shoot into something quite special! For about 200,000 people in the UK, this week is an absolute highlight of the year. Glastonbury 2025 is about to kick off, one of the world's largest music and arts festivals. This BBC documentary about the build of Arcadia, one of my favourite stages, is a great insight (featuring some great hyperlapse footage) into what it means to craft one of many experiences in the fields. I look forward to capturing some fun hyperlapse clips on my 360 camera this year :) Industry News When I started...
